Main applications of functional ceramics

At present, the electronic insulation material commonly used at home and abroad is Al2O3. The new electronic insulating materials in recent years, such as AlN ceramics, has high strength, good insulating performance, low dielectric constant, high thermal conductivity, and the thermal expansion coefficient can be matched with silicon, is mainly used as the substrate of large scale integrated circuit and power circuit module.

Anti bactericidal ceramic material is a new generation of functional materials with the development of science and social civilization. Inorganic fungicide resistance by acting on the microbial mechanism can be divided into three categories: one is mainly through physical adsorption or ion exchange will be silver, copper and zinc with anti bactericidal effect of metal or ion fixed on the zeolite, apatite, silica gel, glass and other inorganic material carrier is made of second kinds of titanium dioxide particle; photocatalytic fungicide resistance, titanium dioxide can make oxygen molecules into active oxygen under illumination, the aquatic life of oxygen free radicals play a bactericidal effect; the third category is the anti bactericidal material with far infrared radiation function, anti bactericidal effect of far infrared function is limited, so the material must be with the two kinds of materials with the use, in order to have better application value.
